Turns out, movers from Texas prefer to remain Texans. Texas topped our list with 72.3% of its moves being in-state. Many factors influence these results, but we can say with certainty it’s not just the geographic appeal of the Southwest. New Mexico – right next door to Texas – nearly bottoms out at 43rd on our list.
